Moving from your hometown can be hard. I remember being eleven and feeling like I was just finally starting to fit in, only to be ripped away from that life I once knew. We moved to a cold, dark, small town in Alaska— a place I had never heard of and couldn’t point out on a map. But over time, I slowly realized what a blessing it had been; this event that felt like the end of my life was really just the beginning. Lucy grew up in Alaska and moved to a different state with her family. On a trip back to her hometown, we scheduled senior photos to document and represent her time and life in Alaska.
