Oboyles | Family Photos
My aim for my photography has always been to document. All I wanted was to capture this funny story, that sunset, this trip, those friends. A lot of photography can feel posed and stiff, which is okay, but I have been wanting my art to feel like stills from a movie. Capturing how a family interacts in a location that is special to them is how I want to freeze them in time. We planned this shoot in two different locations— one to capture Alaska’s beauty and the other to capture their family memories. I wanted this shoot to feel like I was a fly on the wall, just capturing how they interact and spend time together.
