Lennon | Class of ‘26

Lennon reached out to me in early 2025 with a vision for some Alaskan fall photos to use for her senior pictures. I was so excited for the vision I began creating in my head, even though the photoshoot was still MONTHS away. As October grew closer, the leaves transformed into vibrant colors of yellow, signaling the end of the summer season. When it came time to select a date, we were unfortunately forced to postpone our original shoot due to strong winds and cold rain. I’m usually one for a challenge when it comes to weather, but these conditions weren’t what we had imagined for the shoot. When the rescheduled date came around, the weather was cloudy and windy, but we took the chance. The location, the outfits, and the cloud cover ended up looking absolutely amazing. Having this photoshoot with Lennon was so fun because it truly was an adventure, I made her trek through bushes and got some of my favorite photos of her on a dock— while standing ankle deep in mud. Were the conditions more windy than I would like? Yes, but I felt like we both handled it like true Alaskans.
